San Diego

We spent a fabulous week in San Diego with Tim's family. It was the first time in many years that we've all been together. I think its been since before the boys were born! It was great to see everyone and for the boys to get to hang out with their uncles and Grandmom and Granddad. They really enjoyed it. We did all sorts of things. There was a trip to Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, a Self Realization garden and La Jolla to see the seals (or were they sea lions?). There was also a football party where the Ravens DESTROYED Tom Brady and the Patriots. We were treated to gorgeous sunsets nightly. Tim got to take a surfing lesson and can't wait to get back in the ocean to try again. We took tons of amazing pictures. I think the total was somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,200. Some, but certainly no where near all, are posted on my facebook page. One of the funniest things Collin said when we got back was when we were telling my mom about going to the Garden. It was beautiful there and Collin said so but then he said he didn't want to go back there again. We asked him why and he said "because you have to be quiet there". Gotta love that 4 year old perspective.
