We ended the night a Disney Hollywood Studios for the Fantasmic show which was, you guessed it, AMAZING. Collin was a little frightened but very into it and got over any fear pretty quickly. We decided to head back there yesterday to see what we missed the night before. They have a great Beauty and the Beast show which I highly recommend. Collin loved it. Skip Voyage of the Little Mermaid though. It's scary for little kids. We ended the night at the Magic Kingdom for the Spectromagic Parade which we all really enjoyed. We took the ferry back to the Ticket and Transportation Center to get the car and were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the fireworks from the boat.
This morning we had breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and his Friends. Very cool experience. I highly recommend it if you have small kids. The food was good, with a wide variety of kid friendly (yet nutritious) options. Pooh, Tigger, Eyore, and Piglet each visit your table separately and take pictures with you.
We spent a few more hours in the Magic Kingdom and rode a few rides but the thing Collin loved best was the playgrounds. There was one right after you got off the train in Mickey's Toon Town Fair and another one in Fantasy Land (That was Pooh's Playground and it was really cool).
We did manage to ride the carousel, It's a Small World (of course!), Dumbo and Peter Pan. We fast passed Peter Pan and waited in line for about 20 minutes for Dumbo. Don't waste your time on Peter Pan, I thought it was kind of lame and hard to get on and off of. Collin's favorite ride was the Barnstormer which is a roller coaster for little kids. He just made the height requirement to get on. We went on 3 times in a row because we got there before it got really busy.
We ended the night at the Hoop De Doo Revue at Camp Wilderness. Its dinner and a show and so much fun! Collin was scared at first when the performers came in because it was loud but he ended up laughing his little butt off! Even Nick has seemed to have a good time. He's been very good the entire time just sort of taking in all the sights.
Tomorrow we are taking a much needed day off to visit with my aunt. All the books warn you about how tired your feet will be from all the walking. What they should warn you about is how much you back and neck will hurt from carrying small children all the places where strollers cannot go. My feet are fine but my neck may never be the same!
Oh, and go figure, Collin chooses tonight to decide he's going to ask to use the potty every half hour and actually do it! I'm quite encouraged by this!
